Small Skills, Big Impact is a sketchbook development course all about building creative pages bursting with colour, texture and ideas. This one is for young people who love trying things out, exploring materials and filling pages with personality. Think pattern, collage, text, weaving, sketching, colour, layered ideas and full-on creativity.
There is no big final piece at the end of this course, because the sketchbook is the final outcome. Every page becomes part of something personal, expressive and full of progress. It is a place to experiment, test ideas, take risks and build confidence without the pressure of everything having to be perfect.
This course is all about small skills making a big impact. Young people will explore different techniques, develop creative thinking and learn how to turn simple ideas into exciting pages they can be proud of. By the end, they will have a sketchbook full of inspiration, ideas and artwork to treasure.
A 4 week course to develop skills, developing understanding of differnt techniques, all wrapped up in your own sketchbook.
This course will give you an Arts Award Discover Qualification.
